Missy Gutkowski is the Assistant Dean of Experiential Learning at Bucknell University’s Freeman College of Management Center for Experiential Learning, where they believe real learning comes from real experiences. Missy, along with faculty and staff empowers students to innovate and experiment by immersing them in a variety of organizational landscapes. Her leadership and programming have provided opportunities for students to explore Silicon Valley, step onto the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, innovate with top minds in NYC advertising, and enjoy coffee with CEOs from firms around the globe. Missy prides herself on multitasking in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality results to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of students, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and external constituents.

 

Bethany_SlearBethany Slear, Bucknell University

 

Bethany Slear, M.Ed is Program Director of Experiential Learning at Bucknell University in the Freeman College of Management. Bethany studied English and German at Susquehanna University and obtained her masters of educational leadership in college student affairs from Bloomsburg University. She has a background in career development and student support, previously working as TRiO Student Support Services as a Retention Specialist and as Assistant Director of Career Development at Susquehanna University. Bethany, along with faculty and staff empowers students to innovate and experiment by immersing them in a variety of organizational landscapes. Her leadership and programming have provided opportunities for students to explore Silicon Valley, step onto the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, innovate with top minds in NYC advertising, and enjoy coffee with CEOs from firms around the globe. She manages the Herd Mentorship Program, pairing alumni mentors with first-year students for a year-long relationship.

 

Mark_ViscoMark Visco, Suitable

 

Mark Visco Jr. is the Co-founder and CEO at the Suitable, a rapidly growing education technology company headquartered in Philadelphia and working with over 100 schools. Mark graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a double degree in Marketing and Psychology. He also has work experience in higher education administration. This experience illuminated the many challenges that schools face when trying to engage their students outside the classroom due to inadequate technology platforms available. Mark started Suitable to create solutions that pioneer the next generation of student engagement and success to revolutionize the student experience. Mark has given innovative talks at top higher education conferences and has been featured within industry organizations (AAC&U, AACSB, NASPA, NACE, among others). Suitable also organizes an annual user conference, Pathways to Student Development and Success, that brings together higher education administrators nationwide.
