As the Public Relations Manager you will lead the strategy and execution of public relations and media outreach and engagement to increase AACSB's market visibility and reputation globally and regionally. The position serves as the primary media liaison to promote the AACSB brand and advocate the value of business education and AACSB accreditation to the public including learners, educators, and employers.

How you will Contribute

  • Planning: Develops and executes public relations integrated plans and strategies to support AACSB's Advocacy and Awareness and organization-wide strategic goals
  • Public Relations Campaigns: Creates brand awareness campaigns through press announcements, promotion of featured articles, media events, speaking opportunities, coordinated social campaigns with digital media manager, ensuring all communications are brand-aligned and support AACSB's key messaging and voice in the market.
  • Public Relations Events: Oversees proactive media events across the Americas, EMEA, and AP regions, targeting countries as defined by AACSB outreach teams. Develop events to garner visibility and awareness through media engagement.
  • Media Relations: Serves as the primary media relations contact and spokesperson advisor, developing key messaging and providing background details and data insights.
  • Spokesperson Preparation: Collaborates with internal colleagues to secure data and relevant information to develop talking points for AACSB-approved spokespersons.
  • Advocacy Partner Support: Support theDevelopment of strategic advocacy partnerships and content-sharing agreements with key industry organizations and influencers aligned with AACSB advocacy initiatives.
  • Media Monitoring and Tracking: Monitors public opinion through media scans, social listening, and market research of emerging trends and topics in business education globally and regionally. Informs Advocacy colleagues and Executive leadership team of media trends. Develops and monitors key metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of AACSB public relations, messaging, and thought leadership content to inform and shape future strategy.
  • Crisis Communications: Collaborates with the Leadership Team on the planning and response to issues or crises as necessary to maintain, protect, and enhance AACSB's brand reputation.
  • Agency Management: Effectively motivates and oversees external agencies or other individual/specialized consultants to achieve communications goals and maximize investment
  • Budget Management: Monitors and manages budgets related to global public relations activities. Contributes to the overall departmental strategic planning and annual budgeting process.

Requirements

As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and leading marketing efforts for AACSB’s learning and development (L&D), membership, accreditation, and strategic relationship management initiatives globally and in the Americas.

How You Will Contribute

  • Marketing Promotions: Develops, executes, and measures success of marketing promotion plans and activities to support revenue goals for organizational initiatives. Global and regional campaigns include digital advertising, email marketing, SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media sharing, promotion on membership platforms, and sales outreach support.
  • Member Communications: Facilitates with MarCom team leaders on global and regional communications, developing personalized messaging for all channels based on member segment, role, interests, and region to streamline communications, increase engagement rates, and drive Calls to Action (CTAs).
  • Lead Generation and Contact Management: Coordinates with sales and membership teams on standardized global processes for generating and managing leads and updating the AACSB contact database. Monitors email metrics and manages email delivery system for optimal performance. Documents and streamlines journey maps to shorten sales cycles and automates database updates in collaboration with IT.
  • Sales Support: Provides sales support materials for each stage of the sales and engagement funnel including presentations, emails, fact sheets, website landing pages, product information pages.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborates with the regional heads, membership, L&D, accreditation, and strategic relationship management team to provide operational marketing planning and support for on-site events, dues renewal campaigns, and member announcements. 
  • Perform duties in accordance with AACSB International’s Mission and Values. 
  • Fluency in English language

  • Minimal domestic travel (5%)
  • Five (5) years marketing, communications, and related experience, with two (2) years' experience independently managing large projects 
  • Demonstrated, successful experience with implementing successful marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

AACSB is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded individual with a strong interest in business education, business development, and strategic innovation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a business school or an association working with business schools in South Asia. AACSB is open to a variety of staffing models for this position, depending upon candidate qualifications. The position reports to the Managing Director, Asia Pacific and will be based in India.

How you will Contribute

  • Strategically manages a diverse portfolio of school accounts, ensuring proactive engagement to foster school satisfaction and retention.
  • Drives membership growth in South Asia and flows of business schools into the accreditation pipeline.
  • Drives business development of AACSB products and services for South Asia
  • Represents AACSB at events in South Asia.
  • Assists in establishing both the strategic and the operational plan for the region, working to achieve organizational key performance indicators.
  • Creates relationships with key stakeholders in higher education, government, local/regional/national quality assurance authorities and business sectors and assists in establishing cooperative agreements.
  • Collaborates in the creation of professional development seminars and programs for business school faculty and business school senior leadership.
  • Increases AACSB awareness and contributes to advocacy in the region.
  • Serves as an expert on both higher education and industry trends in South Asia to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree beyond bachelor's in business administration, management, or a related field
  • Well networked in business education
  • To Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% annually
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • Fluency in the English language
  • Five years (5) of proven experience in higher education development or as an Account Executive, or similar client service role, with a track record of managing client accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Comfortable using technology to solve complex business problems

  • Terminal degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
