The AACSB Deans Conference is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from February 3–5, 2025. This anticipated event will be followed by the AI Tools for Deans workshop, which aims to empower deans with the latest AI tools and technologies.

As the pace of change accelerates, the AACSB Deans Conference offers a vital platform to examine the urgent need for transformation and the pivotal role business schools play in preparing future leaders for an unpredictable world. Key themes include the impact of disruptive technologies, highlighted by the release of AACSB’s report GenAI Adoption in Business Schools: Deans and Faculty Respond. Attendees will also gain valuable insights into how global dynamics are shaping business and higher education, influencing curriculum design and leadership training. Additionally, the conference will feature the debut of the trailer for AACSB’s inspiring online branded series, Leader Generation, created in collaboration with BBC StoryWorks.

This is the world’s largest gathering of deans with over 700 business school deans from around the globe expected to attend this prestigious event. The conference promises to provide invaluable insights and actionable strategies for rethinking institutional roles, implementing bold changes, and leading schools and students into a future marked by innovation and resilience.

The Deans Conference will feature two highly esteemed thought leaders who are shaping the future of business education and leadership. Ethan Mollick, a leading expert in innovation and technology, will explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in his keynote session. Mollick will provide a deep dive into how AI is revolutionizing industries, reshaping organizational dynamics, and altering the way we work, live, and make decisions. On Tuesday, James Rhee, a renowned entrepreneur and social impact leader, will lead a compelling session on driving global change and leading with purpose. Deans and academic leaders will gain valuable insights into innovative organizational models and the principles of effective change management that can propel business schools and their graduates toward long-term success.

“During an exciting time in business with the continued advancement in technology, and an added emphasis on societal impact, this Deans Conference will be beneficial in embracing these topics to give our member institutions knowledge on how to prepare their students for the future business landscape they will soon be a part of when graduating.” says Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB International.
