2025 AACSB Middle East and North Africa Conference to Explore the Evolving Landscape of Business Education in the Region
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) will host the 2025 Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Conference in the city of Dubai, UAE, from January 15-16, 2025. This premier event will bring together educators, thought leaders, and innovators to examine the transformative opportunities shaping the future of business education in the MENA region.
With the MENA region undergoing significant socioeconomic transformations, this year’s conference focuses on equipping business schools to navigate these changes effectively. Participants will engage in dynamic discussions, workshops, and networking sessions designed to inspire forward-thinking strategies and foster impactful collaborations.
The agenda will address some of the most pressing topics in business education today, including leveraging generative AI in business education, the future of business in MENA, igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in learners, and implementing societal impact strategies within business schools.
“The MENA Conference is the perfect opportunity for business education leaders in the region to engage in meaningful discussions on what the future of business looks like for them and their students. In a region where growth has been exponential, this conference looks to educate attendees on how to capitalize on the growth.” Says Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB International.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with AACSB leadership and seasoned accreditation experts, discussing accreditation processes, teaching innovations, and strategic challenges. These interactions aim to provide valuable insights for advancing institutions. The learnings can be enriched further with the Assurance of Learning Seminar II on January 13-14, 2025 before the main conference begins. The seminar will provide AoL plan and data set examples, explore curriculum and course mapping, and share AACSB accreditation committee and peer review team expectations.
A formal signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and AACSB will occur at the conference including AACSB President and CEO Lily Bi and AArU Secretary General Professor Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama.
