In this session, Stanford adjunct professor Jeremy Utley (a Thinkers50 Top Ten Innovation Leader for 2023) introduces audiences to AI as they have yet to know it: a relationship. Jeremy challenges the conventional AI-as-oracle mindset and encourages professionals to embrace AI as a collaborative thought partner. Drawing on groundbreaking research featured by Harvard Business Review, Jeremy demonstrates why AI-assisted teams often underperform — due to predictable and preventable human bias — and how teams can unlock AI's full potential for innovation. Leveraging interactive exercises, participants will gain personal realizations, and build confidence to spearhead meaningful organizational change. Participants will be equipped with both strategic frameworks and the practical know-how and credibility to be a convincing change-maker in their organizations. Transform your understanding of AI, from a mere tool to a catalyst for behavioral and cultural transformation, in this deeply insightful and empowering session.

Standard 8: Impact of Scholarship requires faculty research to deliver a positive societal impact. Traditional research assessments use quantitative citation metrics that do not capture relevance in terms of impacts on business, society, and the environment. ChatSDG is a GenAI tool that provides a quantitative and qualitative evaluation of research impact in terms of sustainable development and real-world business practice. ChatSDG measures alignment with the United Nations 17 SDGs—a recommended set of measurements in Standard 9: Engagement and Societal Impact. This session demonstrates how ChatSDG can assist with Standard 8 data collection, analysis, and reporting for CIRs.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of business education, artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as an opportunity that should not be ignored. Assessment practices and accreditation processes could be greatly enhanced through innovation with AI. There are opportunities to revolutionize data analysis (i.e., providing deeper, scalable, and personalized insights into performance and learning), offer consistent and immediate feedback (i.e., enabling faculty to address learning gaps promptly and effectively), and improve learning outcomes (i.e., supporting decision making for assurance of learning and program continuous improvement). This session will explore AI tools in assessment processes through practical examples and case studies.

In the past few years, there has been a dramatic shift in the way teams and organizations work. To combat feeling overcommitted, overworked, and overloaded, we need a new playbook—one that enables each of us to fully leverage the opportunities in front of us and equip ourselves with the knowledge we need to both think more strategically and get more work done when time and resources are limited. In this keynote session, UC Berkeley faculty partner, Dr. Sahar Yousef will review how our brains and bodies work best and provide highly effective and scientifically proven techniques for getting our most important work done, in less time, and with less stress.

Learn insights from EAB’s research on each audience’s journey to enrollment. Learn how to optimize lead generation efforts, messaging and web strategies to successfully recruit graduate and adult learners.

Participants will explore how to develop an efficient assessment process to satisfy the requirements of multiple accreditors. Participants will utilize a typology that captures key AOL process dimensions to identify commonality across their accreditors and determine how to efficiently design an AOL process to address common dimensions. Participants will also identify requirements unique to specific accreditors and determine how to best address these in their assessment process. Lastly, participants will consider the utility of shared measures (e.g., rubrics) across multiple programs at the same level (e.g., undergraduate programs) as a means to gain efficiency in the AOL process.
