At Karlstad Business School, we educate responsible professionals, people who make an impact in society through knowledge, shared thoughts and actions with consideration given to adhering to sustainable social, environmental, and economic values. Our range of bachelor, master and doctoral programmes provide Karlstad Business School students with the opportunity to acquire tools and experiences that make them skilled, responsible employees for the future. Collaboration is a key perspective within our programmes both with organisations and internationally - students work alongside organisations on real life case studies amongst others and have an opportunity to spend a semester abroad in one of our selected international university partners.

A vital aspect for Karlstad Business School is the idea of useful knowledge, our research areas of expertise include management and the analysis of organisations and their stakeholders, with particular excellence in service research, feature high quality publications and our research is characterized by societal relevance and impact for students, academia, organisations and society at a local, national and international level.

Karlstad Business School offers 24 programmes at bachelor, master and doctoral level, including six master programmes and four doctoral programmes in English.

Karlstad is centrally situated between the capital cities of Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm on the shores of the stunning Lake Vänern, Sweden’s largest lake.
