Day Two

Module 2: The Teacher-Student Learning Pact

  • Creating the course syllabus and outline.

  • Ascertaining students’ understanding of their course responsibilities.

 

Day Three

Module 3: Active Learning and Engagement

Outcomes

  • Defining what active learning represents in a multimedia and technology driven environment.

  • Aligning learning objectives with active learning methods and strategies.

  • Illustrating capacity to create a well-managed and engaging learning environment.

 

Day Four

Module 4: Strategies and Tools for Assessing and Evaluating

Outcomes

  • Assessing learning versus grading.

  • Selecting evaluation tools to measure student learning.

  • Applying constructive feedback for growth and mastery of concepts, techniques and applications.

  • Designing evaluations that keep the end in mind.
