This webinar will take place from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

As the workforce evolves at an unprecedented pace, business education faces mounting pressure to adapt. The traditional focus on technical skills is no longer enough—today’s graduates need durable skills, such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking, to navigate a rapidly changing professional landscape.

In this insightful webinar, we’ll explore findings from a recent survey of deans and associate deans from 35 business schools across North America, revealing critical gaps in durable skills among students and graduates. Learn how generative AI, post-pandemic educational disruptions, and shifting employer expectations are reshaping the skills landscape, creating both challenges and opportunities for academic institutions.

Learning Objectives

    • Understand the importance of durable skills as timeless differentiators for professional success.
    • Discover actionable strategies for embedding durable skills into curricula, from admissions to graduation.
    • Explore innovative assessment methods, including situational judgment tests (SJTs) and formative evaluations, to track student progress.
    • Gain insights into overcoming barriers such as faculty resistance and resource constraints.
    • Learn how to prepare students to thrive in an AI-driven workforce while addressing ethical and societal challenges.
