The School of Business's BBA and BSMIS programs provide tomorrow’s leaders with knowledge and skills necessary to become lifelong learners, successful members of the workforce, and engaged citizens. Theory and practice come together in the curriculum, which uses real-world challenges to develop an understanding of the societal, organizational and individual impacts of business decisions. In addition to basic business principles and practices, these programs emphasize and integrate technological innovation, ethics and social responsibility, and internationalization.

The Kent State University Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship was recently named thanks to a generous gift from Ambassador Edward F. Crawford. This gift will enable the construction of a new business building, Crawford Hall, on the university’s Kent campus. Construction on the building started this spring and it is expected to open in Fall 2024.
