Keynote I: Leading without Burning Out
Constance Hadley, Questrom School of Business, Boston University
Dr. Constance (Connie) Noonan Hadley is an organizational psychologist and lecturer at Boston University Questrom School of Business and founder of the Institute for Life at Work. Her research focuses on improving life at work for all employees, including topics such as leadership, team dynamics, psychological safety, relationships, well-being, and inclusion. Dr. Hadley holds a PhD in organizational behavior from Harvard University, an MBA from Wharton, and a BA from Princeton University. Previously, she worked at McKinsey & Company and General Mills. Dr. Hadley serves as a Board of Trustees member at McLean Hospital, a leader in behavioral and mental health, as well as a mentor to low-income, first-generation, students.
Keynote II: Using Power - Five Mindsets of Effective Leaders
Eugene B. Kogan, University of Salzburg Business School
Dr. Eugene B. Kogan is the founder & managing director of Kogan Global Advisory, a negotiation strategy and executive coaching practice. He designs and delivers top-rated executive programs, drawing on his award-winning thought leadership on power dynamics in negotiation and leadership. Dr. Kogan has helped more than 2,000 executives and their teams worldwide to successfully navigate high-uncertainty environments for over 15 years. As an Executive Coach at Harvard Business School, he counseled mayors of major European cities on innovative approaches to team management and external communication amid COVID and unprecedented migration challenges. Certified in mediation by Harvard Law School, Dr. Kogan co-authored the book, Mediation: Negotiation by Other Moves (Wiley 2021). His Brandeis University Ph.D. thesis won the Howard Raiffa Award for the Best Doctoral Paper in Negotiation from Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation.
