The Asia Pacific DEIB Workshop will give attendees the opportunity to learn how AACSB approaches diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through a global lens. Creating an organization with individuals from different backgrounds is not enough in the realm of DEIB efforts. Organizations need to understand what it takes to create an inclusive work culture to truly reap the benefits of a diverse organization. Understand why DEIB is important, how to communicate with diverse groups and prepare learners for creating a more inclusive business and society. Explore how we can start understanding the various stakeholders that make up our business schools, organizations, and communities and begin taking significant leaps (or small steps) toward a more inclusive praxis.

When Covid hit many institutions were forced to suspend international exchange programs and deliver online teaching programs that allowed their students to still engage with learners from around the globe. As the pandemic dies down, the big question now is what will happen in the future. Will everything be the same as before, or some things will change fundamentally? Will international learning and collaboration become more ‘virtual’? The spark of creativity in new internationalization programs is finding a permanent place in many b-school programs. Join this session to learn about new opportunities and possibilities for international collaborative programs in the post-COVID future, as well as which efforts will bring more benefits to learners and b-schools.
