Washburn University School of Business sees its mission in providing knowledge and personalized experiences to engage students who will enhance the economic vitality of businesses in the region and beyond. Located in Topeka, KS, the Kansas state capital, the School offers an undergraduate program in a variety of business disciplines along with a Master of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy programs. Washburn University School of Business is devoted to quality outcomes for its students. Washburn student scores on the ETS Major Field Test in Business are routinely in the top 20 percent nationally. Our students consistently earn accolades at various international competitions in entrepreneurship, international business, and strategic management. The School has a unique cross-country course where Washburn students work on real corporate projects with students from Belgium, China, and Brazil and travel to these countries as part of the course. The School also has ties with various entrepreneurial support organizations, including the WU Kansas Small Business Development Center, which provides business planning and start-up help for an 11-county region in northeast Kansas.
