In its more than 60 years of existence and tradition, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) has developed and has become a modern faculty. Over these years, more than 35,700 students graduated from the FEB, acquiring different professional and scientific titles. Between 2006 and 2008, we successfully transformed all our study programs in compliance with the Bologna declaration requirements by adopting the 3 + 2 + 3 model. Our vision that the FEB will be renowned at the national and broader European level as an excellent research-oriented and globally-connected school of economics and business is closely connected with carrying out our mission, which is to contribute to the holistic development of individuals and the sustainable development of the economy and society in the national, broader European and global environment through innovative research and education in economics and business.

FEB has been involved in different international exchange programs within the ERASMUS+, CEEPUS, and several bilateral programs since 1999, which ranks us first among all the faculties within the University of Maribor. Since 2023 more than 200 incoming students join each year and around 60 are going to study abroad. FEB has agreements with more than 180 European universities and cooperation with 19 partner universities from the rest of the World.
