The University of Cyprus (UCy) was founded in 1989 as the first university in Cyprus. Within a short period of time, UCy has established itself as a premier educational and research institution in the international tertiary education sector. UCy features in all major rankings, highlighted by a Top 150 placement in Times Higher Education’s 2023 Young University Rankings. 

The Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) was one of UCy’s three original faculties and a driving force behind the university’s impressive growth. We have built a reputation for teaching and research excellence, as attested to by external quality evaluations. In 2023, we became the first school in Cyprus to obtain AACSB Business Accreditation. 

FEM offers high-quality undergraduate programs in economics and business, with specializations in accounting, finance, marketing, management, and management science. It also offers a range of postgraduate programs including the flagship MBA and innovative programs in Data Science, Human Resource Management, and Behavioral Economics. Our graduates can be found in almost all areas of business, industry, community, public service, and professional life. 

Our academic staff are accomplished researchers with excellent academic credentials. They are engaged with industry and community outreach activities that benefit society and enrich the classroom experience. The academic staff are complemented by professionals who teach many applied courses, providing students with a combination of academic knowledge and real-world experience.
