To develop entrepreneurs and managers who have the knowledge and skills to contribute to a responsible and innovative development of the Lebanese business community. The mission of the school is three-pronged: 1. Provide education in business and management practice with a vision to develop learners’ analytical and communication skills and their critical sense. 2. Carry out relevant research to a better knowledge of national and regional specificities in the management field that address the needs of the business community and the Lebanese society and spread the results and outcomes. 3. Build a learning community that brings together faculty, learners, and firms for the sake of research, development, and dissemination of best practices in business and management. This mission statement is reinforced by specific core values that are also in alignment with the overall principles of the University of Saint Joseph of Beirut: -Involvement of the stakeholders. We seek the involvement of our stakeholders and promote the participation of the school’s internal and external community in the advancement and impact of our activities. -Openness and Collaboration. We believe in diversity, freedom of conscience and thought, and the respect of others. Teamwork, synergy and fair treatment are highly encouraged. -Integrity. We are committed to integrity and full transparency, and constantly seek to maintain trust in our activities. -Concern for utility. We admire excellence, innovation, and quality in our academic, research and service delivery. Eight “mission driven” strategic goals are deemed the key drivers for all the school’s members until spring 2025. These goals that will direct the school’s strategies and continuous improvement viewpoints, were grouped into four perspectives, and for each strategic goal, the necessary actions were presented in addition to the related sub-actions and steps. The latter were thoroughly divided to feature the needed resources, estimated cost, responsible in charge, time frame and key-performance indicators (KPIs).
