The program sponsors chapters of Omicron Delta Epsilon (the International Honor Society for Economics) and Beta Gamma Sigma (the honor society for AACSB-accredited business programs). The Economics program prepares students for careers as economic practitioners and researchers in the for-profit corporate and business environment, the nonprofit private sector, academia, and government.
