EM Normandie enlightens those who are determined to take up the challenges confronting humanity today. Its raison d’être? To inspire and educate the generations of yesterday, today and tomorrow to become the actors of a sustainable world. Free to think, free to learn, free to create. More impactful and responsible than a mission, EM Nomandie’s raison d’être gives meaning to its commitment and direction to its strategy in the long term. EM Normandie’s ultimate goal is not to change the world, but to enlighten the men and women who will. By placing students, via their education, at the heart of these changes, it seeks to make its contribution to a transformation of society which is fairer, more just and more reasonable. This raison d’être commits EM Normandie and should bring it to draw the outlines of the school of tomorrow. Given its ambition, its future projects must be guided by a strong philosophy inspiring the organisation to pursue improvement and the common good. EM Normandie defines this as follows: « School for Life, School for Good ». School for life: EM Normandie seeks to support its students and graduates throughout their entire professional and personal path. This means moving from a « short-term » contract, valid for the duration of their education, to a « long-term » contract to support the EM Normandie community, beyond graduation, in the development of their skills and in the acquisition of new knowledge. School for good: A philosophy inherited from our founder, Jules Siegfried, who worked to change society and was involved in the great changes of his era: training in commerce, male-female equality, openness to the world, access to housing for the many… Being involved in the changes in our society is part of the School’s heritage. Beyond preparing future generations to act, EM Normandie as an organisation must drive change in this sustainable world. It therefore aims to become a positive societal and environmental impact organisation by 2030.
