Technologies With Potential to Transform Business and Business Education: Mobile and Micro-Learning

AACSB Mobile and Micro-Learning Report CoverAdvancements in mobile technology have led to a new mode of educational delivery—mobile learning. Through mobile learning, users can access educational content on the go via their smartphone or tablet. Using incremental, or micro, content, mobile learning providers can engage with their learners in new ways, leveraging a variety of advanced technologies available through mobile devices. Already used in some business schools, this delivery vehicle has the potential to transform business and business education through a reimagining of how a learning experience looks and feels.

This overview provides a primer on mobile learning, including a brief discussion on what micro-learning entails and how it has begun to be used by businesses and business education providers.
