A Visioning Initiative for Management Education
A Visioning Initiative for Management Education
October
2015
Highlights from this Segment
AACSB’s Committee on Issues in Management Education (CIME) launched a Visioning Initiative whose mission is to identify best practices and new trends in management education and look at how business schools can deliver on their own missions in a way that produces a wider impact on society.
The initiative is gathering feedback from all stakeholder groups and will release a document around the time of
ICAM 2016
—but the document is just a start; the visioning process will continue for many years to come.
The
Visioning Initiative website
provides opportunities for members to engage and contribute their own ideas for the future of management education.
During Iñiguez de Onzoño’s transition from chair of CIME to chair of AACSB’s board this spring, he aims to bring into the board membership voices from other schools in different regions around the world.
The Visioning Initiative will transform the views of the rest of the world on business schools and business education.
All AACSB members are encouraged to participate in the initiative through the visioning site and the
AACSB Exchange
so the committee can gather a wide variety of current practices, perspectives, and visions.
