Managing for High-Performing Faculty Seminar

How does a business school manage valuable
faculty resources and still meet or exceed standards? It is a common question
during the accreditation process which this seminar was created to answer.
Attendees utilize hands-on case studies and group exercises to discover new
approaches, as well as share challenges and learn with colleagues.

faculty performance and discuss
methods to meet these standards.

information to improve faculty performance.

qualifications.

Facilitators
(may vary at each offering):
John McAllister is the dean
of the Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida. He is
the former dean, MBA Director, Department Chair, and Professor of Accounting at
St. Bonaventure University and Chair and Professor of Accounting at Kennesaw
State University. Dr. McAllister is a certified public accountant. He received
his bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton, an MBA from Fordham
University, and a PhD from The Pennsylvania State University.
Tim Mescon,
is the dean
and the Tony and Jack Dinos Eminent Scholar at the Michael J. Coles College of
Business, Kennesaw State University. He served on the faculties of Arizona State
University and the University of Miami. Additionally, Dr. Mescon has served as a
visiting lecturer at schools around the world, including the University of
Aston, Nanjung University, and the Hebrew University. He received his bachelor's
degree from Tulane University, an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and a
PhD from the University of Georgia.
