Q: I am trying to enlarge the size of the seal and it is becoming pixilated. What do I do?

A: When using the seal for print use, be sure to download a high resolution format. The seal is available in 1.25 inches and 2 inches, but can be enlarged with higher resolution formats. The low resolution (Web-friendly) versions of the seal are 125 pixels by 125 pixels. To resize for the Web, you will need to download one of the high resolution formats, resize it, and resave it as a low resolution image.

Q: What is a TIF image?

A: TIFF (or TIF) is used to exchange files between applications and platforms. TIFF is a bitmap image that is supported by virtually all paint, image-editing, and page-layout applications.

Q: What is an EPS image?

A: Virtually all page layout, word-processing and graphic applications accept imported or placed EPS files. You can't actually open the eps file but you can import or place it. You may or may not actually see the logo (depending on how the preview for the file is saved and the program it is being placed into, you might only see a box) but it will print. If the logo will be printed by an offset press, use an EPS or TIFF. If the logo will be placed in a program and then turned into a pdf, use an EPS.
