PreAccreditation Committee (PAC)

Purpose
The PreAccreditation Committee (PAC) oversees the
pre-accreditation process, including the acceptance of eligibility applications, accreditation plans and assignment of volunteers to serve as mentors. The overseeing of the process ensures that the process is fair and consistent. For business pre-accreditation applicants, the PAC forwards accepted Accreditation Plans to the Initial Accreditation Committee for review. For accounting pre-accreditation applicants, the PAC forwards accepted Accreditation Plans to the Accounting Accreditation Committee for review.

Structure
The PreAccreditation Committee is comprised of a minimum of nine members and a maximum of 20 members plus a chair appointed by the Board Vice Chair-Chair Elect. One member of the committee will be chosen by the Board Vice Chair-Chair Elect to serve as Vice Chair of the committee. Committee members may be present and former business and accounting administrators, faculty members, and corporate executives. The Chair is a business administrator from an AACSB accredited institution.  Committee members serve staggered three-year terms. Normally, the Chair serves two consecutive one-year terms.
