About the Hotel
This Charlotte Convention Center hotel in
downtown Charlotte, North Carolina, is located
in the business district near Charlotte Douglas
International Airport, Bank of America Stadium,
Charlotte Bobcats Arena, museums, and
Charlotte's finest restaurants and bars. Enjoy
our very own fine dining at Savannah Red
Restaurant and Wine Bar, relax at Cutter's Cigar
Bar, or stop by Champion's Sports Bar &
Restaurant to catch a game on one of 42
televisions.
Hotel Reservations
Each delegate is responsible for making his or
her own hotel reservation. The cost of the
hotel room is not included in the registration
fee. Any guestroom changes, cancellations,
etc., are the delegate’s responsibility and must
be made directly with the hotel. A room block is
being held at the Marriott City Center for AACSB
International Conference participants. Preferred
room rate is 159 USD per night, single or double
occupancy, plus tax. When making reservations,
please ask for the AACSB Conference block to
receive the preferred room rate. The Marriott
City Center must be contacted no later than May
25, 2011 to receive the group discount room
rate. Sleeping rooms are based on availability
and may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

Location / Ground Transportation Facts
Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) is located 9
miles from the Charlotte Marriott City Center.
Directions from the airport to the hotel are:
Take Billy Graham Parkway South to I-77. Follow
I-77 North. Off I-77, take exit 10 (Trade
Street). At stop light turn right onto Trade
Street. Go 1 mile and hotel is on the left. From
I-85 - Take I-77 South. Take Exit 10B (Trade
Street East). Follow Trade St into city and
hotel entrance is on the left.
